TICKETS for the first of three trains of the iFlix Victoria Falls Carnival’s train party are sold out, three weeks before the annual fiesta begins.

The train party, popularly known as “The Bush Party” will be held on the second day of the three-day carnival which begins on December 29.

Last year, tickets for the first train were sold out two weeks before the carnival began, but this year they were sold out a month before, showing how much popularity the event has gained.

As such, carnival enthusiasts have been encouraged to buy early-bird tickets and not wait for the last minute to avoid disappointment.

“Train one, three day passes are officially sold out. We have just opened up the second 6PM Train three Day Passes. If you want to join us for our legendary African Carnival Train & Bush Party you better get your tickets quick,” posted organisers on the event’s Facebook page.

A three-day festival ticket is being sold for $90, two-day ticket for $65 and a one-day ticket for the New Year’s Eve concert is going for $50.

It seems that this year’s epic line up of DJ Prince Kaybee, Black Coffee, MiCasa, Ammara Brown and The Kiffness has been welcomed well judging by the rate at which tickets are moving.

Also on the line-up is Mampi from Zambia, Congolese artiste Tresor, Rubber Duc and Ghapi, Zimbabwean artistes Flying Bantu, DJs Jason Le Roux and Francis.

This year, the carnival is themed Unity and goers are urged to take their flags with them as event organisers want them to show where they come from by waving their flag, painting their faces or wearing their respective country’s dresses during the carnival.
