IT shall be a sea of people dressed in white tomorrow as Umqombothi Night Club in Bulawayo’s Nkulumane 5 suburb will host its third All White Party.

A number of the city’s best DJs, artistes and dance groups will gather in the high density suburb to party with revellers.

Dubbed the “Epic Edition”, the All White Party will have three dance floors, one housed upstairs, the main stage in the nightspot and one at the braai area.

The party will start at 11AM and end in the wee hours of the night.

On the line up are Sons of Voodoo, COHN, Mdue Seven, DJs Mzoe, Liz, Nash Abra, Nospa, and Babongile Sikhonjwa, hostess Queen, Obama, Jza, Soundmotion and Cube Studios among others. Centre Party, Bovas, Khoikhoi, Khaya Arts, Sungura Masters and Ziyawa will be also part of the entertainment.

One of the show organisers, DJ Sweeto, said they wanted people to meet their local celebs under one roof.

“Our main aim was and is still to create a platform where the people from the ghetto get to mingle with each and every other party animal, at the same time having the biggest opportunity to meet and chat with their local celebrities whom most look up to for inspiration”, said DJ Sweeto.

Going along with the white theme, even the beast that will be slaughtered is white as the club’s management wants to thank Mqombothi patrons and those in the entertainment industry for supporting them during the year.

“A big white cow has already been secured to make it the undisputed Biggest Braai Party in the city. It definitely promises to be a fired up night.”

He said the response they got last year was overwhelming and they hoped to make this year’s party even bigger adding that all the activities would be recorded for a movie they are producing to relive the day.
