QUEEN of the dance floor Ammara Brown put up a spirited performance when she staged her first ever show at Club Nitrus in Victoria Falls on Saturday night.

The queen of the stage wowed the crowd despite the poor sound quality.

The energetic Mukoko hit maker took to the stage just after midnight dressed in a jump suit and immediately won the hearts of her fans most of whom were seeing her live on stage for the first time.

The crowd reverberated when she unleashed Kure Kure, a duet she did with Jah Prayzah.

The diminutive nimble footed songstress rolled song after song and it was dance for all when she played Bhachura, another duet she did with ExQ.

Ammara took her fans down memory lane when she played a tribute song to her late father Andy Brown with fans singing along.

The only other times fans could sing along was when she played the famous Mukoko, What do you want from me and her late father’s Gudo Rakakwira Mawere which was her last song for the night as she left the stage just before 2am.

Ammara was elated by the support from Victoria Falls fans.

“I enjoyed playing before such a lively crowd and I love Victoria Falls,” she said.

Ammara assured her fans that she will be back in December for the Jameson Victoria Falls Carnival.

Yesterday afternoon she toured the Rainforest with her five- member crew.

Meanwhile, a contingent of Victoria Falls kwaito/hip-hop artistes also left music lovers convinced that there is abundant talent in the resort town after staging a two legged show on Friday.

First it was a day show at Chinotimba Community Hall between 12 noon and 6pm where Victoria Falls’ hip-hop/kwaito son — Criss Ozzy-real name Owen Ndlovu, wowed an appreciative crowd.

However, the night edition at Comfort Pub and Grill was different as the venue was fully packed.

Bigboi Huncho opened the stage followed by Billy Jones before opening way for Maskaal as they warmed the stage for Criss Ozzy who rocked fans for nearly three hours leaving the stage after 3am.

Criss Ozzy, played his hit songs Kukhal’esami, Kuzolunga Mantombazana and Nomalanga.

“I am excited that we managed to pull such crowds and none of us disappointed on the stage,” said Criss Ozzy after the show.
