UNITED States R&B star Toni Braxton wants to visit Robben Island and Table Mountain while she is in Cape Town, South Africa.

The 47-year-old Unbreak My Heart singer, who was in Zimbabwe last week for her first leg of the African Tour, arrived in South Africa on Saturday where she held her first concert at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Sunday.

From there, she and fellow musician, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds travelled to Cape Town on Monday with her sisters Trina and Towanda. Like her arrival in Zimbabwe, she and her sisters needed a dozen bodyguards to escort them to their hotel.

Wearing a tracksuit and large sunglasses, she was marched into a BMW at the Cape Town International airport.

“They’re using a separate exit, not the normal terminal like all passengers,” said an airport staffer upon her arrival.

They are said to have been booked at a four-star hotel near Cape Town International Convention Centre and made no big demands apart from requesting a trip to Robben Island and Table Mountain.

Braxton, who refused to comment on her arrival, travelled in a separate car while her sisters were in a kombi.

“Are they waiting for us?” asked Trina Braxton. “Let’s just get in and go,” shouted one giant security staffer who had arrived with the trio.

The artistes were billed to perform at GrandWest yesterday, before shows in Johannesburg tomorrow and Friday. — TimesLive/Showbiz Reporter.
