ZIFA Southern Region Division One have postponed the league match between Trumus Warriors FC and Indlovu Iyanyathela after the soldiers excused themselves from this weekend’s fixtures due to their involvement in the Zimbabwe National Army charities event in Mutare. The match was scheduled for tomorrow and a new date for the clash will be set in due course.

Indlovu Iyanyathela secretary Paul Mutisi said they hoped Zifa will find an early date for the rescheduled match as taking a break from the league at this stage would affect their plans for a top eight finish.

“We are involved in the Zimbabwe National Charities tournament in Mutare and are going to miss our match as we are only coming back on Tuesday. We will, however, be open to play on any date that Zifa will announce, which we hope will be soon,” Mutisi.

Indlovu Iyanyathela lies 10th on the log table with 27 points while Trumus Warriors are eight points behind on 12th position.

Log leaders Bulawayo City will be seeking to extend their lead to eight points when they visit Amagagasi in Victoria Falls tomorrow. The municipal side will be hoping their city rivals and second placed Bulawayo Chiefs slip-up against Hwange-based side Technosphere.

Former Premier League outfit Bantu Rovers host Ntabazinduna at Luveve Stadium and Black Boots face Hwange Under-20 at Fairbridge.

Sunday will see a bottom of the table clash between log anchors Mpumalanga and Old Nic Mine in Hwange while Makomo meet Casmyn.
