People behind the Bulawayo bombing that killed two people and left 47 Zanu-PF members with severe injuries in June are now known and will be dealt with soon after the current electoral processes are over, President Mnangagwa has said.

The bomb was detonated soon after President Mnangagwa’s address when the VIPs were leaving the stage and almost wiped the Zanu-PF leadership top four except for Cde Obert Mpofu (secretary for administration) who was not at the rally due to other commitments.

President Mnangagwa and other VIPs were safely evacuated but several people were injured.

Addressing Zanu-PF candidates who excelled in the July 30 harmonised elections, President Mnangagwa said he was happy that one of his deputies, Cde Kembo Mohadi, who was also seriously injured in the unfortunate incident was back and recovering.

“We want to thank God intervened on what happened in Bulawayo,” said President Mnangagwa.

“We now have the knowledge of who did it. We want the current (electoral) processes to pass then we will deal with that matter. But we want to thank God that he (VP Mohadi) is here with us today otherwise we could have died together in Bulawayo in that incident.

“We lost two colleagues and some were seriously injured. We still have two who are still in a critical condition. Our chairperson, Cde (Oppah Muchinguri) Kashiri, was also seriously injured and our VP Cde Mohadi was injured on his leg. Our doctors here recommended that he be transferred to South Africa so we sent him to South Africa with others who are not here. Mai Muchinguri-Kashiri was the first to be discharged and we are happy that she is back with us here.

“Cde (Mabel) Chinomona also went to South Africa but she said she is now fine. Uyu limping Jack watave naye pano (VP Mohadi) is coming in the public for the first time. He was in great pain and he has not yet fully recovered but because he is a soldier we are with him here today.

“He lost his brothers during that time and we encouraged him to take a rest. We hope that he will quickly recover because we want him back at work. So Cde Mohadi we love you and get well soon.”

Commenting on the recent polls, Cde Mnangagwa outlined some of the challenges faced by the party including the issue of regalia which he said arrived late.

He said it was important to do a truthful post-mortem of the elections and to ensure another sweeping victory in future elections.

Cde Mnangagwa said his party never interfered with the operations of the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission.

He said even at Government level, Zec’s independence was never interfered with adding that Government only ensured that the electoral body had adequate funds to execute its mandate.

The meeting was also attended by the two Vice President Dr Constantino Chiwenga and Cde Kembo Mohadi, Zanu-PF national chairperson Cde Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, secretary for administration Cde Obert Mpofu and several Politburo members.

in life some people have survived dangerous situations only because something creeps up on the last moment and making it hard for you to be there. i remember long back a pilot of air Egypt that crushed couldn’t be there on the ill fated journey due to some reasons, and he was reported to have been so shocked of what happened and a young lady who was a baby by then survived an air crash that claimed everyone on board some years back in the US . No one could explain how the baby survived. Two catholics priests are said to have survived the Hiroshima attack in Japan that evaporated lots of people

Why were they recommended to go SA and not Parirenyatwa. Several patients end up looking for donations for treatment outside the country but the gov ignores that and pple end up dying eventuseve

If the culprits are known, why are they not dealt with expeditiously by law enforcement agents i.e ZRP? Why should the president be the one to say when they should be dealt with? How exactly does he plan on dealing with them? If they are known they should just be arrested and brought before the courts.

It means they do not know them and they want the culprits to run away to other countries like Zambia or Namibia. It is true, they do not know who did it.

Hope those who shot civilians will also be dealt with.

My family was almost destroyed if it wasnt for Mama Chizoba +27607924740.. I used to live with my parents even in university because I wanted to make sure that if I was to move out it was going to be for good and I would just come back to visit , at least that’s what I had planned.. My parents were fine with it and continued to support me through my fresher and sophomore years.. Tho in my third year, my Dad really changed and became cold to me, telling me how I was a disgrace to the family and a failure yet I was passing my classes and all the exams… I thought that probably stress had got to him and his anger would phase out with time but he kept on treating me worse and worse, ignoring me and showing me I’m not wanted.. At a point, he and my mom had arguments about it… Worried and afraid that my family would soon breakdown completely, I would cry in my bed most of the time when I was home.. The stress got to me so much that it affected my studies and my friends noticed it, that is when of them told about Mama Chizoba +27607924740 who can fix basically any problem… I got in contact with the dear mama and we went through some spell reading among other things..She gave me month for a change to happen but by the third week my father had become nice to me again and in the next few weeks we were a family again…
I honestly and deeply appreciate what you did for me MAMA +27607924740.. You changed my life
