CASSPER Nyovest has assured Zimbabwean fans that he will make his two shows in the country although reports suggest that he has one major show in South Africa over the weekend.

The SA based artist is billed to perform at the Large City Hall Car Park in Bulawayo tomorrow and on Saturday he will headline the Impala Car Rental 10th anniversary celebrations at the Glamis Arena in Harare. The two shows are being organised by Chipaz Promotions

According to SA media reports, the Doc Shebeleza hit maker will perform at Major League Gardens in Johannesburg on Saturday.

His manager Lerato “T-Lee”Moiloa said: “All is 100 percent under control; Cassper is excited by his Zimbabwe trip as it’s been a while since he came through so there should be no worries at all.”

Cassper’s manager could however not clarify how Cassper will shuttle between Bulawayo, Johannesburg and Harare to fulfil his shows.

Organiser of the Chipaz shows said everything was under control as Cassper will arrive in the country on Friday.

“Cassper will fly to Harare arriving Friday afternoon.  He will then will fly to Bulawayo for the show in the evening at around 5PM. He performs in Bulawayo then flies out to South Africa on Saturday afternoon for a performance there at 4PM then flies back to Harare at 7PM for the show in the capital,” said Chipaz.

For the Bulawayo show, Chipaz said they had decided to start selling a limited number of advance tickets as from tomorrow at Skyz Metro FM offices.

Cassper will be performing in Bulawayo for the second time as a solo artiste with the first being three years ago at Hartsfield Rugby grounds.

At that time it was at the height of the xenophobic attacks in South Africa and as a gesture of unity with African artistes, Cassper featured on a remix of local rapper Cal Vin’s track Zikhuphani, which became a national anthem.

The two will meet on stage once again, alongside Zimdancehall chanters Soul Jah Love and Freeman.
