SUPERSPORT United goalkeeper George Chigova is back at training after recovering from a groin injury which he sustained in December.

Chigova who has played second fiddle to first choice goalkeeper Ronwen Williams had little game time in the first half of the season.

Hopefully the second will be better. “Chigova is a young and talented goalkeeper who has a great future with the team. As a team we are very happy about his return which will boost the team’s strength.

“Definitely his chance will come, what he must do is to keep on working hard and stay focused,” said SuperSport United spokesperson Koketso Gaofetoge.

Meanwhile, former Kaizer Chiefs striker Kingstone

Nkhatha started training with his new team, SuperSport last week.

Gaofetoge expressed his satisfaction with the arrival of the striker whom he described as a quality player with lots of experience in the Absa Premiership.

“The arrival of the Zimbabwean has added depth to the team. Our coach Gordon Igesund is delighted to have such a player in the team’s corridors,” he said.
