BULAWAYO “prophet”, Blessing Chiza says he will host a mega anointing service tomorrow, with thousands of people expected to attend to receive holy oil after buying DVDs.

The service, to be held at the ZITF’s Hall 1, will run from 7AM till 5PM.

The Faith in God (FIG) Ministries International, Eagle Life Assembly leader said on his Facebook wall that he would be releasing holy oil that he has dubbed “The Yoke Destroyer”.

“The anointing oil is a weapon released by God to shatter yokes and demolish strongholds. Just one drop of oil and the devil will not know how he reached hell. That’s why I’m releasing a powerful anointing oil this Sunday at ZITF. THE YOKE DESTROYER,” wrote Chiza.

He said all those who have broken marriages, seeking marriage, the unemployed, the lame and sick will receive healing with just a drop of the oil. He said all that one has to do is to believe.

Chiza quoted 2 Corinthians 10:3-4 to show how powerful the anointing oil is.

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary they have a divine power to demolish strong holds,” says the verse.

Chiza has held similar services and all-night prayers throughout the country where thousands of followers have attended.

In a flier announcing tomorrow’s service, the “prophet” said: “The anointing oil unlocks all the doors to opportunities in one’s life. It will lubricate your lives and things will start moving smoothly. It has power to heal sickness, people with pregnancy problems will be well. Businesses will rise, lives will change and there shall be testimonies. It protects people from accidents and also frees them from debt.”

Earlier this month, prominent Prophetic Healing Deliverance (PHD) Ministries leader, Walter Magaya descended on Bulawayo and dished out his own version of holy oil.

Magaya church members have also given testimonies claiming that they have been healed from chronic diseases.

President Robert Mugabe last week blasted Pentecostal church leaders for misleading congregants into making them believe they can get rich quickly.

Medical experts have also condemned “prophets” who claim to cure HIV/Aids and have repeatedly advised people against stopping taking their medication as there is no cure yet.
