THE Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Darts League action resumes this evening after taking a break to pave way for the Legends Cup tournament last week. Bulawayo Darts Association (BDA) committee member Apinos Chiwara said teams were ready to have a go at each other and try to advance their position on the table.

“We’re expecting to see some tough matches as the bottom teams try to rise from their slumber. It’s never easy but one must realise that top teams have players who are currently enjoying good form,” said Chiwara.

He said most of the players who were participating in the Legends Cup tournament will be playing in today’s matches with some looking forward to causing upsets.

“The players who were participating are mostly from the local league and they’ll be looking forward to upsetting the teams leading the pack. Archers and Railstars are currently in fine form and will seek to continue what they’re doing right to keep their positions,” said Chiwara.

Bosso captain Julius Ncube said his troops, who fell to Archers in their last league game, are looking forward to getting a better result when they take on Bellevue.

“We’ll be looking at collecting points from our next game after the upset against Archers in our last game. The guys have been training and preparing themselves for the match. Bellevue aren’t doing so well themselves but we’ll not underestimate them because anything is possible so we’re not leaving anything to chance,” said Ncube.
