SOULFUL urban grooves artistes Trevor Dongo and Leonard Mapfumo will be heading to Bulawayo next week for a show in the city.
They will both perform at a welcome party being held for Dongo who recently returned to the country from his United Kingdom tour. The party will be held at Hustlers Leisure Centre on August 8.

The Ndashamisika hit-maker is fresh from the UK tour which included artistes Souljah Love, Freeman, Shinsoman, Guspy Warrior, Seh Calaz and Nox.

The Zimbabwean troupe performed at three concerts in Luton, Coventry and Manchester last month as part of a tour that had been dubbed the Summer Fiesta 2014.

Dongo said those who would attend the show would have a rare opportunity to sample tracks off his yet-to-be released 10-track album titled 2 Steps To Go.

“I have performed in Bulawayo more than five times and I am looking forward to this gig. I will sample my new tracks including Kana Ndinewe and That’s How I Feel, with those who will come to the show,” he said.

Dongo, who recently released a music video for Handisikumira, said he was working on a single which will feature Mapfumo.

“I am working on a single that is going to feature Leonard Mapfumo and Taurai Mandebvu. The single will be out soon but fans should expect fireworks as the track will be a killer,” he said.
