informed him he was not his son and threatened to kill him.
Samson Dundundu appeared before Civil Court magistrate Ms Renika Dzikiti on allegations of sending death threats to his son, Ronald Dundundu.

Samson admitted to sending death threats to his son, adding that he did not want Ronald in his life and that he should stop all forms of communication with him. He did not deny the allegations, claiming that he had been told in a dream by his ancestor that Ronald was not his son.

Samson claimed that he was forced to take Ronald as his son when he was young. He said he had written down his name on the birth certificate as the father yet he was not.
Samson also demanded reimbursement of all the money he had paid for the son’s education.

He had previously tried to claim reimbursement for the maintenance he had paid for Ronald from the mother, his former lover.
He argued that he had been duped but the magistrate dismissed this claim. Samson refused to take a paternity test after the magistrate had ordered it to assertain parentage.

The magistrate said this would solve their dispute and put the matter to rest.
The accused, however, said he had no reason to doubt the message he received from his ancestors in his dreams.

Although Samson wanted to cut all ties with his son, Ronald refused saying that he still wanted his father in his life.
The magistrate gave the two a peace order but emphasised that Samson should go for a paternity test to resolve conflict between him and the son.
