Harare City 2-1 Chiredzi FC
CHIREDZI FC coach Gishon Ntini was frustrated after his side lost his second game against Harare City in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Rufaro Stadium in Harare yesterday. Ntini who took over the reins at the Lowveld based side two weeks ago said his efforts were being disturbed by some external efforts. The gaffer was delayed to be at the bench as the referees wanted him to show them his licences, a process he referred to as a way of frustrating him as he tries to save the team from relegation.

“Seriously how can I spend hours trying to explain myself to the referees when I am supposed to be on the bench? These are ways by external forces to frustrate us but we will not bow down,” said Ntini.

The match started on a high note with both teams taking extra caution in the opening five minutes before the visitors scored in the 10th minute through Scholar Hadebe.

The striker who has been scoring several goals for Chiredzi found the opener after he connected a cross from David Temwanjira who caught the Harare City defence flat footed.

After the opening goal Harare City started to pile some pressure as they were looking for the equaliser which came towards the end of the first half.
Osborne Mukuradare managed to connect a header from a Martin Vengesai cross in the 40th minute. The teams went to the break deadlocked at 1-all but it was Harare City who returned playing purposeful soccer who scored again in the 59th minute.

Masimba Dinyero, the Harare City coach, said this is the beginning of good things to come and he hopes they will continue with the fine form.
“This is an exciting win for us and I hope we will continue to pick these crucial points as we want to run away from relegation.

“This gives us confidence that we can escape relegation so we will fight to continue picking up crucial points,” Dinyero said.
