LUKE “Vahombe” Masomere has stoked flames ahead of their tie tomorrow afternoon against FC Platinum declaring that he will be playing at home.

“Zvishavane is my home and most of all I enjoy playing at Mandava Stadium because I’ll be at home.People are going to watch exciting football although I will not predict the outcome.

“Following our victory against WhaWha I’m going to Zvishavane with a positive mind. I’m just urging fans to come and watch exciting football and one thing I know about the fans in Zvishavane is that they love me,” said Masomere.

Masomere’s How Mine hammered hapless WhaWha 6-0 at Barbourfields Stadium on Saturday.

Timothy January scored four goals in his first match of the season with former ZPC Kariba winger Limited Chikafa grabbing a brace.

“People should take me seriously when I’m speaking. I told people that I was going to hammer Caps United 6-nil but they dismissed it as just pep talk.

“Imagine playing against players who were coming from the cells, playing people who had been persuaded by their fans at the police station to go and play football.

“They were going to come to the stadium not in a right state of mind,” said Masomere following his record victory.

Besides January they also have last year’s joint top goal scorers Charles Sibanda and Kuda Musharu in their books.

Sibanda is a former FC Platinum player and will be out to prove to his paymasters that he has not lost his form.

Musharu and another former FC Platinum midfielder Menard Mupera are other players that will be out to disturb Platinum.

Norman Mapeza who seems to have regained his winning form has enough arsenal at his disposal.

He has a youth dominated side that poses a lot of risk to Chikurupati. In Walter Musona, Wisdom Mutasa, Brian Muzondiwa, Emmanuel Mandiranga, Tatenda Dzumbunu, the team poses a great challenge to a number of clubs in the premiership.

The platinum miners were the first to hand debutants Tsholotsho their first away defeat and it will not be a big surprise if they brew another surprise for How Mine tomorrow.
