From Paul Mundandi in Zvishavane
QADR Amin has declared that he moved to Dynamos from FC Platinum to collect silverware.
His side clashes with Caps United in the Bob91 Super Cup final on Sunday. He has described their opponents as small boys.“Caps United and all the teams in the Premiership should know that Dynamos is a big institution. We’re the league champions and what they did to us in the inaugural Sino-Zimbabwe Cup at Rufaro Stadium two weeks ago is history.

“The honeymoon is over. It was very unfortunate that we lost in a penalty shootout and I’m focused on winning the Harare derby which will be my second if I make it into the team.

“I came to Dynamos to collect medals and I’m expecting a good welcome when I kiss the cup on Sunday. I won the Bob89 medal with FC Platinum and I’m targeting the Bob91 medal as I join hands in celebrating our President’s birthday,” said Amin.

He conceded that competition on the leftback position at FC Platinum was one reason that made him return to the capital.

“Elvis (Moyo) had become the regular leftback at FC Platinum after injuries dogged me in 2014. I had no choice but to move on because I’m getting old. I need game time. It’s only at bigger clubs like Dynamos where you get high opportunities to play in South Africa or Europe. I’m getting game time here and I’m happy to play for them and the fans are fantastic. I’ve a very good working relationship with David Mandigora (coach), the assistant coaches Ndiraya (Tonderayi) and Muzadzi (Gift). They’re very good and I just appeal to the fans to give them time because very soon they will be delivering.

“I’m now staying in Mbare with my mother and wife and I no longer miss anyone since my mind is settled. Home is always best and fans should start expecting those crosses of mine from the left and the powerful shots.

“I also hope to start scoring as soon as I pick my usual form. I need more championship medals since I only have one I won during my time at Gunners in 2009 under Bambo (Moses Chunga),” said the 25-year-old who was in Zvishavane on Monday to collect his household furniture.
