BOSSO coach Erol Akbay says his outburst that Dynamos were better organised than the Bulawayo giants were made in the heat of the moment after losing to Chapungu last Sunday.

The Dutchman made the sensational claims in a post match interview at Hartsfield Ground after Highlanders were shocked 0-1 by Chapungu in a Castle Lager Premiership match.

It was Bosso’s fourth straight league defeat and fifth defeat on the trot in total in all matches in the second part of the season, including the Defence Forces’ Challenge Cup played at the National Sports Stadium against a Defence Forces select side.

Speaking at the club’s weekly press conference yesterday, Akbay, who was in a jovial mood, said he uttered that statement due to anger.

“I said those things when I was pissed off, when we had lost. They said when one is pissed off he must not say certain things and I was pissed off that day after losing,” said Akbay. — @skhumoyo2000

Angry or not angry, the gentleman committed an act of misconduct by bringing the name of the club into disrepute and he deserves to be punished just like Tsano was punished when found guilty otherwise he will continue to label the executive disorganized for letting him scot-free for doing things that Gorge Silva was punished for at Dynamos.

This guy does not have a clue about the Highlander-Dynamos rivalry. These foreign coaches should be given a thorough orientation.

May Chronicle please let us get on with our lives without having to worry about the trivial emotive antics of the Dutch coach? It would rather be more fruitful if readers were informed about positive developments in the nation’s oldest club directed at improving its financial status and jacking-up the premier side’s performance?

This man should have been long gone, what is he still doing at Highlanders? Does he expect any sympathy from dynamos where maybe he is expecting it to be his next job, what with Mutasa doing well with unknown players and he always redifining failure with each game
