THE poles, stage, lighting, drinks, dancers and sound system for strip club – Private Lounge – have been set with the Bulawayo joint’s management signalling that they are ready to open doors on Friday.

But before officially launching, the club conducts a test run tonight with a few invited guests including top socialites from the city expected to witness strippers and pole dancers doing what they do best.

Following international trends, the strip club at Cecil Hotel, sister company to Private Lounge in Harare, also switches on its klieg/spotlight today to ensure its patrons locate it without any hassle.

Thelma Zuva, the club’s manager said top dancehall mix-masters – Judgement Yard would be making their way to Bulawayo for the launch. They will perform alongside DJ Crazy Black, Liz, Mellow T and Emity Smooth with a whole host of strippers expected to take centre stage.

Zuva said the strippers who have been recruited from Harare and Bulawayo were raring to go adding that they had invited famous experienced pole dancers from Harare to spice up the launch.

“We want the launch to be one that people won’t forget so we’ve gone all out with entertainment on the night. Basically, we’ve called on the services of popular dancers from the capital whom we’re keeping as a surprise to come and excite patrons,” Zuva said.

“The new dancers have been shuttling between Harare and Bulawayo as we wanted them to maintain the standards at Private Lounge in Harare.

They’ve been coached well and are now more than ready to dazzle patrons with their unique skills on stage and on the poles.”

“Other than entertainment in the club, we’ll also have fireworks and a follow the light (spotlight) which I’m confident will change the game in Bulawayo as the spotlight will be the first of its kind in the city.”

Those attending the launch on Friday will be expected to pay $5 before 10PM.
