CONTEMPORARY musician Jah Prayzah fulfilled his dream and filled up the Harare International Conference Centre with more than 5,000 people attending his show on New Year’s Eve.

Dubbed FillupHICC, taking a leaf from South Africa’s Cassper Nyovest who filled up the coca cola dome in that country with 20,000 people, the show was meant to test Prayzah’s popularity.

Winky D, Sulumani Chimbetu, Roki, Alexio, Seh Calaz, Trevor Dongo, Ba Shupi, Bryn Kadengu and Maroja were the supporting acts.

Keen Mushapaidze, Jah Prayzah’s manager said he was pleased to have fulfilled their dream to fill up the HICC with more than 5,000 people.

“The place has a seating capacity of 5,000 people but it can carry more. The place was packed and there was barely room for people to move around,” said Mushapaidze.

“This was a good way of thanking our fans across the country.”

He said fans should expect bigger things and more shows this year from Jah Prayzah.
