Mandlenkosi Nyoni’s solitary goal settled matters in this match of the weekend which saw run away leaders Hwange Reserves getting three points on a silver platter after walking over Amagagasi FC from Victoria Falls on a 3-0 score line.

Army side Moto Moto, a real threat to the Chipangano developmental side, again had guns blazing after garnering a crucial 2-1 away win against Iwisa Sparrows who are always hard to beat at their Ngotsheni ground base.

A Tatenda Ushe brace was all Moto Moto needed as they still have two games in hand over Hwange Reserves who are blazing hot at the moment.
Sparrows replied through Warren Ngodzo.

Fifth placed and former pacesetters Blackrock FC stemmed a four game losing streak by sharing the spoils with Lukosi Pirates at Lukosi ground in a goalless draw in a match they failed to punish Pirates who were jaded throughout.

Ingagula continued with their decent run of form after clobbering Shumba Stars in Dete with goals coming from John Chinyerere (brace) and Dananai Madziva.

Victoria Falls based Trumus Warriors silenced Nengasha Stars in front of their own fans at Old ground with a sweet 2-1 win with Clyvine Sibanda and Craig Mabhena getting the goals while Nengasha Stars got their consolation from veteran Richard Mwalugale.

Corinthians edged rivals Flying Elephants 1-0 thanks to a goal by Alpha Nleya while a 1-1 draw between Classic Luyando and OT Lions Academy completed the action in this league.

Luyando scored through Lesley Mulenga while Academy’s Andile Moyo hit the nets.

The Binga 2B league where Lunda FC are leading by a hefty 10 points had little action as only two games were played and all ended in draws.

Mangani and Kamativi drew 2-2 while Sowa United and Lubanda FC shared points in a 1-1 draw.
