ZIFA Matabeleland North Division Two league table toppers Makomo FC said they are confident they will wrap up business tomorrow afternoon and clinch the title after beating Fire FC.
The two team clash in a cracking league match at the Old Stadium.

The ambitious miners, who have amassed 75 points from 29 games, just need a point from tomorrow’s encounter for them to be promoted to the Zifa Southern Region Division One league in 2015.

Second placed Amagagasi, who have played a game more than Makomo, have garnered 69 points and trail the miners by six points but are saddled with a setback of an inferior goal difference of -17.

Makomo FC’s firebrand chairman Mernard Maera declared that the boys were ready to silence Fire FC and start preparations for next year.

Player coach Tapela Ngwenya will bank on the exploits of Richard Mwalugale, Barnabas Mudimbu, Loyd Chimuchenga, Lawrence Khumbula, Peter Gani and Craven Tamirepi.

On the same day, third placed ZRP Hwange will seek to keep up their faint hopes of a second place finish when they entertain tricky customers, Victoria Falls Tigers at Sports Pavilion.

The Tazvivinga Gweme coached ZRP Hwange are on 62 points and trail Amagagasi by four points and by the look of things, the seasoned campaigners in this league will settle for third place.

On Sunday, Kamandama Celtics welcome gritty Prison Eagles at Madumabisa while Hwange Under-17s entertain Victoria Falls based outfit Classic Luyando.

Sunday: Kamandama v Prison Eagles (Madumabisa-3pm); Hwange U-17 v Classic Luyando; Corinthians v Ingagula; Zambezi Lions v Blackrock; Amagagasi v Broncos (bye-Broncos expelled).
