TWO Zimbabwe internationals were on target on Wednesday in Absa Premiership games.  Mamelodi Sundowns’ Cuthbert Malajila helped his team salvage a point after scoring first for the star-studded Pretoria side before their former player Thamsanqa Sangweni equalised for Eric Chipeta’s Chippa United.

Maritzburg United’s Terrence Mandaza scored a brace when his team thrashed George Chigova’s SuperSport United 4-1.

Three former Dynamos players Washington Arubi, Partson Jaure and Denver Mukamba ended on the losing side when their team Pretoria University was beaten 2-1 at home by Bloemfontein Celtic.

Even though the Zimbabwean players were in action they never helped Steve Barker’s side’s cause.

Mukamba came in for Geofrey Massa in the second half and showed some fine touches.

Arubi pulled a number of brilliant saves.

Kaizer Chiefs were stopped on their winning streak by struggling Moroka Swallows.

Swallows are now under former chief striker Fani Madida who is the team’s caretaker coach after the sacking of Zeca Marques this week.

The Zimbabwean trio of Tinashe Nengomasha, Tendai Ndoro and Energy Murambadoro also collected maximum points after Mpumalanga Black Aces beat Orlando Pirates 2-1.
