Masvingo Correspondent
MDC-T leader Mr Morgan Tsvangirai led a low key peaceful protest in Masvingo with a handful of supporters marching from Mucheke suburb to the city centre on Saturday. The march was meant to force the Government to create two million jobs and address the economic challenges which ironically were brought about by the MDC-T through calling for illegal sanctions.

Flanked by his three deputies, Mr Elias Mudzuri, Mr Nelson Chamisa and Ms Thokozani Khupe, Mr Tsvangirai came face to face with the reality of his party’s waning fortunes.

He attributed the low turn out to the economic challenges bedevilling the country. A few members who attended the march and listened to their leader’s address at the Civic centre left the venue dejected as Mr Tsvangirai continued with his rhetoric of attacking the Government without proffering any solution. — @walterbmswazie
