CHIWORORO coach and owner Lloyd Munhanga believes they haven’t achieved anything yet despite topping the Zifa Bulawayo Province Division Two League in their first season.

Chiwororo have topped the league table for eight consecutive weeks and sit on 55 points from 26 matches. They have also scored 67 goals so far.

“We don’t look back at the games we have played. After we are done with a game, we immediately start planning for the next one. We still have a long way to go and that is why I feel like we haven’t really done anything,” said Munhanga.

“The guys have been training very hard and it’s now showing. What motivates us most is the thought of playing in Division One next season and when we get there we will be fighting for the top spot as our aim is the Premiership.”

Chiwororo have a tough encounter on Saturday when they face Chicken Inn at Iminyela.

They have to win because any slip-up could mean them losing top spot. Only two points separate the top three teams with four games remaining.
Ajax Hotspurs are second with 53 points followed by Zim Leopards with 51 and Chicken Inn Under-19 on 49 points.
