MUSIMBOTI Traditional Science and Technology Institute has opened a fourth branch in the country. The recently opened branch is situated at Corner 8th Avenue and Robert Mugabe Way in Bulawayo. It has three branches in Bulawayo and one situated in Harare, at 166 Harare Street.
The institute owns a manufacturing factory in Bulawayo and has two farms that grow herbs under natural environments and are harvested sustainably.

Musimboti is a legally approved institute registered with the Ministry of Health and Child Care under the Traditional Medical Practitioners’ Act to research and develop traditional medicines, food supplements and indigenous knowledge.

The Traditional Medical Practitioners’ Council it falls under is regulated by a registrar who oversees the practice of healers.

Musimboti offers capsules, ointments, teas and liquids to assist different people in their endeavour to live healthy lives.

These products include well known traditional and cultural herbs passed on from generation to generation, namely “intolwane or muzeze pasi” and “mgugudu” which are manufactured under Good Manufacturing Practice, approved by Factories and Works.

The herbs are sent for processing whils still fresh. Musimboti has become popular and the talk of the town, attracting a significant number of people who visit their different branches to be enlightened more about these products.
