FORMER Warriors defender Method Mwanjali may return to Mpumalanga Black Aces soon. He was the skipper of the side last season while on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns and negotiations are believed to be on course. The utility man reverted to being a Sundowns player at the end of last season. He has however not been part of the club as he was in Zimbabwe for most of the pre-season sorting out his papers.

Sundowns’ communications co-ordinator Thulani Thuswa told Chronicle Sport: “We are negotiating a move for Mwanjali to Aces as we think that may be good for him as he is already familiar at the Mpumalanga based side. We can’t stand in the way of any of our players. He is our player we love him and want him to have enough game time and enjoy football. He is a great player, we know if he is loaned out then he will add value there.”

Thuswa said he believes the Zimbabwean has received his papers to work in that country.
Meanwhile, former Warriors striker Nyasha Mushekwi is still struggling with the injury he suffered when he was still playing for KV Oostende in Belgium. Mushekwi was loaned last season to the Belgians after struggling to command a regular place at Sundowns.

Other Zimbabweans at Sundowns are Cuthbert Malajila, Kudakwashe Mahachi, Khama Billiat, Esrom Nyandoro and team manager former Coventry City striker Peter Ndlovu.
