THE Sandra Ndebele and Khuliyo show to be held at Bulawayo Theatre tomorrow is almost sold out as by yesterday only 50 tickets were left to fill up the 312 capacity venue.

The tickets, which cost $10 and $15 for the VIP, are available at Sandy’s Hub, Fingers Hair Salon and Intwasa Arts Festival koBulawayo offices.

This might mean that some who may want to attend the show might not get the chance to buy tickets.

Khuliyo said the idea behind a joint show was to see if people can support local art.

“The tickets are selling like hotcakes and it has taken us just two weeks to fill up the venue. This shows that people support local music. I’ll perform a set from my album Amaphupho Amatsha (new dreams) then Sandra will do the shame. In the finale we shall share the stage together. We already have a collaboration single called Just don’t kheya which was performed at Miss Africa Zimbabwe to serious interest from fans,” said Khuliyo.

He said with the collaborative show they wanted to show that two local acts can work together and come up with a show worth attending.

Khuliyo said they were working hard at rehearsals so that they have a flawless show.

Ndebele said they sold advance tickets to see if people would support them.

“I’m actually glad that we decided to sell the tickets in advance because people can tell us what they expect during the show. It’s also an opportunity to see who supports us and although it hasn’t been easy but it has been worth it,” said Ndebele.
