FORMER Professor Welshman Ncube led MDC Bulawayo spokesperson Edwin Ndlovu has bounced back to politics and joined MDC-T barely a week after announcing his retirement from active politics.
Last week on Thursday, Ndlovu quit politics saying he wanted to dedicate his time on studies and farming.
Addressing journalist at Bulawayo Press Club on Thursday evening Ndlovu said he was coming out of retirement to join MDC-T.

“I have decided to join the MDC-T after being persuaded by the people on the ground to come back to politics. I was not approached by any leader of any political party. This was decision after deep introspection,” he said.

Ndlovu said he will persuade other MDC members to defect to MDC-T saying he has already recruited 30 members.
“I have already convinced 30 MDC members from my Pumula constituency who were part of my election campaign to join me in ‘the bigger tent’ MDC-T,” he said.
He said the MDCs should be united if they wish to remove Zanu-PF from power.

“Comrades let’s unite in the same spirit we had at the Chitungwiza convention of 1999. As MDCs we fight among ourselves more than we fight Zanu-PF,” said Ndlovu.
