MARTIN Sibanda and Ndolwane Supers Sounds take their act to Matabeleland North this weekend with three shows lined up.
The Big Boss, as Sibanda is affectionately known by his followers, will be on stage at Kudu Bar in Victoria Falls tomorrow before two other shows at Lwendulu Social Club in Hwange on Saturday and Wise Waters in Lupane on Sunday as the band introduces a new dance called ‘kiss.’

Ndolwane Super Sounds manager Thandazani Nyoni promised fans exciting shows.
“It’s been long since we played in the resort town and we urge our fans to come in their numbers and see our dance crew unleash the kiss dance,” he said.

“The kiss dance is non-romantic, but our three dancers will leave you asking for more.
“Wherever we unleash the dance, we leave fans asking for more. Kiss is common with slow music and is done gently, but ours is done with full force and a lot of energy.”

Nyoni said award winning poet-cum-teacher, Obert Dube would back them at their Hwange show.
Since splitting with boyhood band partner Charles Zwane, Sibanda and his youthful new look Ndolwane Super Sounds have continued to excel with their exquisite and well-choreographed acts which have seen them rise to being the group of the moment in Matabeleland and the Midlands.

Sibanda’s group has defied odds and has established itself as the most sought after band in the region with promoters competing for their participation at shows.

After a decade of music, Sibanda released a scorcher of an album Bakhuzeni in 2012 which is still doing well.
Fans who will attend the shows will have a chance to listen to their golden oldies from the original Ndolwane Super Sounds and a list from Bakhuzeni, with its popular song Sekukubi.
