SURPRISE package in the 2018 Zifa Mat North Division 2A League Nengasha Stars shot to the top of the table following their 2-2 draw with Ingagula FC at Chakona ground on Sunday.

Nengasha climbed to the top despite throwing a 2-0 first half lead after erstwhile leaders Trumus Warriors suffered a shock defeat to Tenex FC on Saturday.

Richard Ncube and Tafadzwa Mhike were on target for Stars while Ingagula clawed back through a Dion Nyoni brace.

Hwange Reserves remained in the hunt with a 2-1 win over Iwisa Sparrows in Dete to move into third position, thanks to goals from Pardon Manyaule and Desire Sibanda. Sparrows got their goal from Peace Mwanza.

Shumba Stars roared to a 2-0 win over Corinthians, with Sikhumbuzo Sibanda and Innocent Mumba on target.

A rejuvenated Amagagasi again picked vital points by beating Nakuluba Warriors 3-2 at Chinotimba ground with a Simabarashe Sani brace and a goal by Shelton Dube making the huge difference. Warriors replied through Nkosilathi Ncube and Carlton Ncube.

Classic Luyando dazzled Kasibo Gunners 3-1, while Blackrock humbled Hwange Railstars 2-0.

Lukosi Pirates’ trip to Madumabisa United turned into a nightmare, as they fell 0-2. Tenex shocked Trumus Warriors 2-1, while Baobab Rovers continued to sing the blues following a 0-2 home loss to DRC United.
