Nengomasha, Katsande clash

FORMER Warriors defensive midfielder Washington Tinashe Nengomasha is back in South Africa’s Absa Premiership after he signed for Mpumalanga Black Aces.
He had been off-loaded by his former team Bidvest Wits at the end of last season. The player almost spent this season in the wilderness but was rescued by the Mpumalanga based side Mpumalanga Black Aces which is coached by former Bafana Bafana and the 1996 African Cup of Nations winning coach Clive Barker.
The former Kaizer Chiefs midfield destroyer will be up against his former side in the MTN Top 8 competition at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg tomorrow at 3PM.

The million dollar question is who will have the last laugh between the two hard men Nengomasha and Kaizer Chiefs’ Willard Katsande.
In attack for both sides Zimbabweans will be in action with Kingstone Nkhatha set to be in the Amakhosi line up while Tendai Ndoro will pull the strings for Aces.

Nengomasha told Chronicle Sport: “I’m more than delighted to be part of the rejuvenated side and an ambitious team. I thank the management for giving me such an opportunity and rescuing my football career. This is my new home I have to help the team win some silverware starting this weekend.

“We will do everything to stop Chiefs but people must not expect that I will destroy my former team now they are a different team with lot of changes and new players.”

Nengomasha said he is not eager at the moment to discuss his future with the team with his top priority being to focus on the coming game which he described as the battle of the giants.

The former Zimbabwe Black Aces star has been reunited with his former Wits coach Barker.
