Bukhosi Nyathi, a former Iyasa dancer who had a stint as Sandra Ndebele’s backing vocalist formed the group.
He said there were other groups like Iyasa who were going to perform at the event as part of the celebrations.

“We are going to celebrate in style with our friends in the industry,” Nyathi said.
Nyathi is an experienced artiste whose career dates back to the Mpopoma Drama Club. He said it was from there that he attained crucial experience. The artiste said he worked with Iyasa when it was still called

Mpopoma Dance Group, from 1998 to 2002.
“In 2003 I then worked with Sandra Ndebele for a year as her backing vocalist and it added to my experience and I thought of starting something on my own,”  he said.

Nyathi went on to form his own dance crew in 2004, which he has worked with for the past eight years.”I have been working with the group in the past eight years and the group consists of 14 members and out of these 14, five are male,” said Nyathi.

He is also a musician who has four albums to his name. The albums are Jaiva 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Nyathi said he would be shooting a 12-track DVD album on 29 January from his four works and called on other artistes to support him.
