Obama cult: A sad hoax Barack Obama

President Obama

THERE was some kind of pie in the sky when a black man was elected president of the United States, with Barack Obama taking over from George W Bush in the 2008 elections. Or rather, there was no pie at all, just a mere fallacy. And in his inaugural address, Obama acknowledged the change his presidency represented, describing himself as a “man whose father less than 60 years ago might not have been served at a local restaurant.”

But although the crowd and the podium around him were full of elated African Americans, Obama, the first black person to become US president, did not dwell on that in his speech, noted the New York Times. Moreover, to many people in Africa, his ascendancy to the top office in the United States meant a possible change of foreign policy towards the continent, where Obama’s roots are in Kenya, and perhaps a fairly changed policy towards the whole world, but that has not been the case.

The battle against the illegal sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe by the West has been going on for more than a decade, and the coming in of Obama did not help matters, only to buttress the assertion that governments may change, but regimes seldom change.

And just recently, the US announced that it had tightened sanctions on Zimbabwe after endorsing “final rule” stringent measures that would see the Office of Foreign Assets Control intercepting funds and goods such as medicines destined for Harare. International donations in the form of humanitarian aid, food, clothing, goods or money are likely to be affected under measures introduced on July 10.

Washington will also impose sanctions on any companies and financial institutions that do not follow orders to freeze money destined for Zimbabwe via international transactions.

Local analysts say the US is specifically targeting proceeds from the sale of diamonds from Chiadzwa, which are in strong demand worldwide. The “remodelling” of the sanctions comes a few weeks after US Ambassador to Zimbabwe Bruce Wharton said it was necessary to review the embargo since conditions under which it was imposed had changed. Optimists had taken this to mean a relaxation of the widely-discredited embargo, especially in light of the European Union’s indication that all its sanctions on Zimbabwe could be removed by the end of this year.

The Sunday Mail reported this week that analysts said the timing of the sanctions was tailored to coincide with the US-Africa Summit next month, to cow African leaders who might harbour intentions of defying Washington in any way. America used similar tactics in Iraq in the 1990s when it blocked medical supplies, weaponry and chlorine for water purification, in a calculated attack on the country’s social and economic structures.

The sanctions are estimated to have killed 500,000 Iraqis — mainly infants and toddlers — over a decade, culminating in an invasion of that country in 2003 on the pretext of searching for weapons of mass destruction. Zimbabwe is also under a Western arms embargo that analysts say is designed to weaken defences, which is combined with an onslaught on the country’s social and economic infrastructure.

After Obama took office, a film maker and radio talk show host, Alex Johns, wrote and directed a documentary, described by some as a “political conspiracy theory film”, the Obama Deception, released in 2009.

At the end of the film, Jones said: “In summation, Barack Obama is a Madison-Avenue created fad. All of the crazed Obama worship being pushed by the corporate media is scientifically designed to capture the public in a net of peer pressure mass euphoria. If the new world order can just distract the public for a few more years, the elite can finish constructing their police state control grid.

“Barack Obama is the perfect Trojan Horse. He makes people feel like they finally have a place at the table, even as he betrays them. Sadly, many Obama supporters can’t see what’s right in front of their faces because they’ve already invested their very identity in this artificially created cult movement. Throughout history, it has happened over and over again. People turn their intellect over to cult of personality mass movements, and it’s happening again.

“The evidence presented in this film is documented fact. And those that ignore what history has taught us do so at the peril of us all. As frightening as the information in this film is, there are many things we can do to stop the globalist agenda dead in its tracks. First, we expose the cult of Obama for what it is: a sad hoax. Next, realise that we are all being propagandised, 24/7. Investigate all information for yourself, be it political parties, the media, or this film. Be aware of the tricks that the elite use like the staging of false flag terror attacks and other crises.

“Rediscover the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Promote a culture of true liberty. There is a reason why the internationalists are attempting to destroy the sovereignty of all 50 states. They know it is one of the biggest threats to their domination. The federal government has been completely hijacked by foreign interest, and more than 25 states have recognised this fact and are moving to block the New World Order at the state level by declaring their 10th Amendment powers. But most important of all, there is a huge awakening taking place in the United States and across the world against the globalist agenda. Free people everywhere are joining together and saying no to corruption and tyranny, and no to world government.”

Saman Mohammadi, editor at The Excavator Blog commented, “Those words ring more true now than they did in 2009. President Obama’s own actions have demonstrated the truth of the observations and assertions that were made in The Obama Deception. Far from being wild, crazy, and conspiratorial, The Obama Deception is now regarded as ahead of its time in its political diagnosis of Barack Obama and the United States. It is truth-telling at its most noblest.”

The documentary has been watched 30-40 million times over the years, whether on the internet, or in DVD format, and that is a conservative estimate. At the time of its release, critics said the documentary made wild and conspiratorial claims about Obama’s presidency, the United States government and Wall Street.

The crux of the claims of the documentary were that Obama was no different from any other American president and in fact, he was a creation of an elite group of bankers who were pulling the strings behind the scenes.

KRS-One, a hip hop artist, argued that Obama was like a manager of “Burger King” and if one had a complaint about a burger, they would talk to the cashier, and if they don’t solve the issue, they move up to the manager but the most important thing is that they never get to meet the franchise holder of “Burger King”, in this case, the Bilderberg Group accused of being the masterminds of the US domestic and foreign policy.

The documentary says the Bilderberg Group consists of 125 multi-billionaires from rich nations who are bent on fostering their own financial and political agenda, and Obama was also being used to face off with the growth of the Chinese influence even in Africa, with specific reference being made to Zimbabwe.

Webster Tarpley, an author and historian, said the new world order being talked about was a new palatable name for the Anglo-American World Empire, that had nothing for everyone, but something for the few rich to continue enslaving everyone, including Africa through siphoning their natural resources. He said it’s a puppet post to be a US president, as the Wall Street administrators are occupying all influential positions in government and some of them are members of the elite group of billionaires who dictate world economic, political and social affairs.

With his confident smile, kind eyes, eloquent speech, athleticism and charisma, aided by the corporate media, Obama has been able to run with the baton since taking over from Bush, right on the same track and direction, so it seems.
