Pasuwa snubs DeMbare

Mutasa had hoped to link up with his long-time friend at the club that gave the duo fame, having briefly separated last season with Pasuwa assisting Moses “Bambo” Chunga at CAPS United.
Mutasa was appointed Dynamos coach following the departure of Elvis “Chuchu” Chiweshe and immediately announced that Pasuwa, alongside Masimba Dinyero, would be joining his backroom staff.

But Pasuwa has since revealed that he will no longer be joining DeMbare after turning down a contract offer he strongly believes was not competitive.
“I’m no longer going to Dynamos, I’m club hunting at the moment.
“I would have loved to be there but it seems the old men there are not really interested.

“They offered me a contract which I felt needed to be reviewed and I informed the chairman (Farai Munetsi).
“They told me that they would get back to me but it’s been a while now so I just figured they were not interested.
“I was waiting for them to get back to me but at the end of the day, I realised that they had brought in Tonderayi Ndiraya so I just had to move on.
“I had a good offer from a Division One club but they turned their attention elsewhere when they read about this whole Dynamos issue.
“I’m just waiting to see what will happen. But my leaving CAPS United had nothing to do with Dynamos.

“Dynamos approached me at the same time  I had been offered a job in Division One. I wanted to take up that offer because I feel it offers me a good challenge as a coach.
“But you know I have worked very well with Lloyd so he convinced me to join him at Dynamos.
“It would have been good to be back at Dynamos but I had some bad experiences there before and I just wanted a more professional marriage with them but they couldn’t deliver that so I have to move on,” said Pasuwa.

While Pasuwa did not reveal the details of the contract he had been offered, sources close to the former Warriors midfielder revealed that he had been offered a US$300 a month salary.
The offer was much less than he was getting at CAPS United.

Pasuwa maintained that he would not be going back to CAPS United as Chunga had already roped in Brenna Msiska to assist him.
Dynamos’ off-season has been marred by an exodus of experienced players they had registered for their Champions League campaign.
Last week, just as everyone thought they had snapped up Charles Chiutsa from city rivals Monomotapa, the latter revealed that they had inked a deal with CAPS United for the player.
Dynamos were given a grace period to sign the player but failed to do so by the stipulated deadline and Monomotapa withdrew the player, opting to deal with CAPS United instead.-The Sunday Mail
