Sandy rules out relocation

Instead, the sultry singer, composer and dancer said she would rather stay in Zimbabwe.
“Well, the thing is I love being home and I understand here (Zimbabwe) there is good education for the kids. What I’ll do is to make him (Nkanyiso) relocate home,” she said.

Sandy, as she is popularly known in showbiz circles, revealed how much she wants to raise her children at home.
“Besides my business interests here, I think home is best and with another baby on the way it’s only good to be home where most of my relatives are,” she said.
She is expecting her second child in the next couple of months and already she is over the moon about it. “You know there is royal blood in me and I am expecting another baby boy. Who knows it could be twins,” she jokingly said.

Sandy said although she was looking forward to being a mother again, that did not mean an end to her music career. In fact, she said she is “still very much around”.
The couple has a two-year-old son named after her husband, a lawyer by profession. And those who know him say that he is quite a reserved person.

Their wedding was the talk of Bulawayo with the who’s who of the City of Kings and Queens on the guest list including the likes of Nani Ntengo, the lead singer of the famed South African Afro-pop group Platform One.

Iyasa, Sandy’s former group, also provided entertainment at the wedding whose theme colours included grey, orange and white.
Sandy will be making her way back to Harare next week for the annual social soccer game pitting musicians against yesteryear footballers.
As usual, the curvy dancer will be playing her role as a medic, something she does with a passion.-The Herald
