DYNAMOS’ Portuguese coach Paulo Jorge Silva was at it again yesterday, blaming four unnamed players for the Harare giants’ miserable run that has seen them failing to win or score in 540 minutes of competitive football.

In his post-match interview after Dynamos were humbled by FC Platinum in the Independence Cup third place play-off at White City Stadium yesterday, Silva, who has blamed everyone but himself for the Harare giants’ alarming slump, said he will first report the four players to the club leadership before publicly naming them.

“I come up with a strategy on how we can win games, but they (players) change the style of play on their own. There are four players I will not name now that are causing all these problems,” said Silva, flanked by his assistant Lloyd Mutasa and manager George Chihoro.

Silva has used every opportunity to blame everyone, including some members of his technical team, for alleged sabotage.

His incessant complaints have already forced the club to sacrifice goalkeepers’ coach Gift Muzadzi and he has now turned on his players as well as club president Kenny Mubaiwa, whom he blamed for not heeding his call to bring in four new players.

“I identified four players before the season started and the club said it’s okay, but I don’t know what happened next. Maybe we now have to wait for the second transfer window,” Silva said.
