THE epic space opera film Star Wars: The Last Jedi will premiere at Ster Kinekor Bulawayo Cinemas on December 14 with organisers encouraging movie lovers to book early to avoid disappointment.

Premiere nights at Ster Kinekor have proved to be popular with movie lovers in Bulawayo as most events are oversubscribed.

With the closing of schools and people being in the middle of December, the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, willl see patrons thronging the venue to show off their outfits.

Entrance to the movie house will be $7 which includes a pair of 3D glasses with the movie starting at 8PM.

As is the norm the red carpet will afford people a chance to dress to the nines and impress before the premiere of the movie.

Ster Kinekor spokesperson Maybe Simbisai said: “We’re continuing to give people quality movies for the festive season holiday and Star Wars is one of them.

“The red carpet will be out and people should come dressed for the event when doors open at 6PM,” said Simbisai.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (also known as Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi) is a 2017 American epic space opera film written and directed by Rian Johnson.

It is the second film in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, following Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015).

The film is produced by Lucasfilm and will be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

It stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, and Gwendoline Christie in returning roles, with Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern, and Benicio del Toro joining the cast.
