GOSPEL musician Takesure Zamar tied the knot with his girlfriend and fellow church member Kudzai Marova at a colourful ceremony in Harare on Saturday.

Zamar who is behind the hit Kuregerera In Advance married at Piccobello Restaurant, with Harvest House head Apostle Colin Nyathi and his wife Reverend Sarah, friends and family gracing the occasion.

Zamar said being married was his greatest achievement so far, encouraging those who are still single to consider following him.

“I don’t know why I’ve been waiting for so long to get married. This is the best feeling. I encourage youths to find someone they can settle down with like I did,” said Zamar.

The talented artiste stole the show when he performed for his wife.

“I sang worship songs in Venda and one love song I composed for my wife during the wedding ceremony and reception. She also sang for me, something which warmed my heart.”

Fresh from their honeymoon, Zamar said there will be no time to rest as he has a show at Word of Life church in Bulawayo on New Year’s Day. The show will feature fellow gospel artistes Kira, Lolly, Wenyasha, Vocal Ex, Crème Voices, Izambulo Zamakholwa and Annointed Voices.

His next show will be in Harare in April.
