FORMER Highlanders and Dynamos goalkeeper Tendai Tanyanyiwa has had his contract extended at South African Absa Premiership team, Pretoria University.
He is the team’s goalkeepers’ trainer.
Tanyanyiwa, who played for the side while they were still campaigning in the National First Division two seasons ago and retired as a goalkeeper due to a recurring knee injury, had his future guaranteed by the club this week. The former Bosso, DeMbare and Black Aces goalkeeper is working with another Zimbabwean goalkeeper, Washington Arubi.

Denver Mukamba and Partson Jaure are part of the playing squad.
“I’m happy and enjoying working with AmaTuks, this is the team which gave me an opportunity in the PSL to be their goalkeepers’ coach. There are many things I have learnt from the team’s head coach Steve Barker.

“Barker is a mentor and father in the beautiful game, without his advise, I wouldn’t be where I am today,” said Tanyanyiwa.
