THE Vista Night Club has won the race to host Kalawa Jazmee supremo Oskido’s All White Party in Bulawayo on Christmas Day.

Last week, local nightspots such as newly opened Club Cosmopolitan, Red Cafe and Club Connect were reportedly in the race to host the high profile party.

Now, Oskido returns to a familiar venue The Vista, which rebranded from Horizon, a place where the artiste held the same party in 2013. The event was oversubscribed.

This time around, the party will even be more interesting as the Big O will unpack his new 50 Degrees album in the city.

Warming up the stage for Oskido will be DJs Slamma, Sibago and Prince Eskhosini with entrance pegged at $10 for general and VIP $25.

Organiser of the show Vusumuzi Siqalaba said they had settled for The Vista because they wanted to rotate the All White Party which in recent years, has been held at Club Eden.

“We’ve held it at former Horizon, Stop Over and Club Eden over the past years and now we felt that it should go to The Vista. This is because we want to rotate the event around the city’s nightspots every year.

“Club Eden (now Cosmopolitan Night Club) has hosted it for the past two years, so it was time for change,” said Siqalaba.

The All White Party comes at a time when Oskido turned 50 years last month and at the same time, released his 12-track album 50 Degrees. During the All White Party, he is expected to sample tracks from the album such as Skaba Forgiva, Ngci and Amagrootman for fans in Bulawayo.

Every year, Oskido’s All White Party sets the tone for the Kalawa Homecoming Party as it gives people a glimpse of what is in store at arguably the country’s biggest party on December 27.

This year, the Homecoming Party will be held at Amazulu Sports Club, a stone’s throw away from what had become the traditional venue — Queens Sports Club.
