Yesterday he said there appeared to be moles within his camp spying for the opposition.

Bosso drew their third straight match following a 1-1 draw against Harare City in a lively match that was however marred by poor officiating that regrettably led to some ugly scenes at Barbourfields Stadium.

The draw was Bosso’s third, following 0-0 draws against Chicken Inn and Motor Action and even though they are yet to lose a match, many now believe it’s a matter of time, unless they completely change the approach.

Despite not collecting maximum points in three games, Highlanders still lead the standings by three points following FC Platinum’s shock 2-0 defeat to Monomotapa on Saturday and 1-1 draw between Shabanie Mine and Chicken Inn.

Of the championship chasing teams, Highlanders have been the worst performers in the last three games, collecting a paltry three points while second placed Shabanie Mine collected seven points from a possible nine, FC Platinum got six points, the same as Monomotapa. Mutare based Buffaloes collected five points, the same as Chicken Inn while Harare City bagged seven points in their last three matches.

For a team that is eyeing the league title, the above statistics should surely be a cause  for concern. On Sunday a bit of technical immaturity was exhibited by the Highlanders bench that saw midfield stars Mthulisi Maphosa and Simon Munawa being substituted late into the match.

Coming from two draws, Kaindu should have played for a positive result so as to bring back the confidence and all was well until that substitution blunder.

“We played badly yesterday, it was as if we were not at home. Perhaps a bit of complacency on the part of my boys contributed to the poor show. Our opponents seem to have intricate information about our strengths and weaknesses but that is football these days,” said Kaindu.

He said the team though would soon get back to its winning ways as the league enters the home stretch.

“That is when you need to work harder as a coach, to always come up with more innovative ways of playing.

“It’s unfortunate that we don’t have anyone spying on our opponents but we will get over it. It happens in football where sometimes you have to travel with your handbrake on but once its off, you cruise and I am sure it shall be well again,” said Kaindu.

He hinted that with funds permitting, he would want to beef up his squad with one or two players.

There was no joy again for Quelaton who lost their ninth match of the season, falling by a single goal away to Buffaloes and remain firmly rooted at the bottom of the standings.

The team has been playing some good football since Philani Ncube took over and could cap that performance with a giant killing act against Dynamos at Luveve Stadium tomorrow.

Matabeleland North’s only representative in the top-flight league, Hwange, finally remembered how to win with a classy 2-0 win over Motor Action in a match that  they just had to win with reports from the Colliery suggesting that, the colliery management, despite constantly saying they have all the confidence in the technical team, the coaches had been told in no uncertain terms that nothing less than  three points against Motor Action was acceptable.
