Total Zimbabwe, one of the leading energy supply companies in the country, has launched the new T-Air station model in Harare.
The new T-Air station is the first of its kind in Zimbabwe and is the image that is being rolled out by the Total Group globally.
Derived from a French acronym “Total Amélioration Image Réseau”, T-Air marks an image improvement of Total’s retail network. This service station has a distinctly modern and more contemporary appeal and design.

Total Zimbabwe managing director Christopher Okonmah said the launch of the company’s new service station image at Total Samora Machel was part of the group’s objective to reinforce its network identity with a resolutely contemporary image and installations that were more energy efficient.

“We will continue to invest in this country because we believe in the people of Zimbabwe whom we have walked a long journey with spanning over 50 years. Today, Total Zimbabwe is happy and proud to unveil its new service station image, T-Air, here at Total Samora 2.

“Our customers will appreciate our new set up which eases movement and accessibility. The colours we have used resonate with the environment we operate in. We are extremely happy to report that there have been notable successes already; customers have reacted positively and have been flocking to this station since it opened.”

Energy and Power Development Minister Dzikamai Mavhaire congratulated Total Zimbabwe for setting an example and pace for other companies.

“We have seen other major oil companies choose to leave our country but Total has chosen to stay and invest in the country. The government recognises and appreciates that.

“The present day customer now demands value for their money and this T-Air model aims to create the ambiance that meets customer changing needs and expectations It is a worldwide concept for Total stations,” Okonmah added.

“I am happy to inform you that this service station is managed by an indigenous Zimbabwean Wellington Samambwa who comes from our young dealer scheme, this is one of the ways we empower indigenes in our host countries.”

Total Zimbabwe has over 95 stations nationwide with 5 functional depots in Harare, Bulawayo, Mutare, Chiredzi and Kwekwe.
The company is currently in an upgrading exercise of our depots and installations. The T-Air service stations are expected to be rolled out to other cities and towns starting this year until all our stations in the country are re-branded.
