BULAWAYO Amateur Football Association (Bafa) new comers Unity Village are confident of a good show in their next two league fixtures that will also see them squaring off against table toppers Madamara.Their first assignment is against Safeguard tomorrow.

Unity village captain Gilbert Ncube said his team was fully prepared for the fixtures ahead of them and their main objective was to collect maximum points.

“The mission is plain and simple, we are going into these matches with the intent of winning. No one wants to lose a point because it would change a lot of things. It’s still early to believe that winning this weekend will guarantee the title,” he said.

Ncube said they would not look down on Safeguard as they are a threat and would relish the prospect of causing an upset hence they have everything to play for.

“We don’t take Safeguard lightly even though they occupy the number four spot on the table. They have been in the league much longer than us and will want to give us a tough time as the new boys,” he said.
