There is outrage in the United States  over the gunning down, a few weeks ago, of black teenager, Trayvon Martin, by a Hispanic neighbourhood watch volunteer, George Zimmerman. The murderer claims he shot the 17-year-old in self-defence yet Martin was not armed and had just reached his parents’ home in a gated neighbourhood in Sanford, Florida. Apparently his crime was that he was black and wearing a hooded jacket thus Zimmerman decided he was suspicious.
Being black in the States puts one at a disadvantage, no matter how educated or wealthy one is. A black man is likely to be stopped and searched by police (both black and white) on a daily basis. A black man is likely to end up in prison than university and this has nothing to do with intelligence at all but skin colour.

Two more blacks were shot again in Chicago recently and a 22-year-old woman died while a man was injured. Just like in Trayvon’s case, no arrests have been made even though the gunmen are known.  The Chicago off-duty police officer claims the black brother was looking “suspicious”, yet he was only holding a cellphone that the officer claimed he mistook for a gun. The question is could  he not have ordered him to surrender?

That is America for you!
Shaima Alawadi, a 32-year-old mother was found badly beaten in her San Diego home   recently  and she died soon afterwards, when her family was forced to end the life support she was on. A note found next to her body read, “Go back to your country, you terrorist.” California police are investigating her death as a possible hate crime, according to a report on Al Jazeera. It would appear her crime was that of being a Moslem woman of Iraqi origin and nothing else.

America has always boasted of being a leader in democracy, human rights, justice and equality. There is a saying in the States that goes “justice is blind” implying that racial stereotypes and prejudice have no place in the justice delivery system in that country. But wait a while. Eighty percent of prisoners in American state and federal prisons are black. According to Human Rights Watch, the United States is the only country which has children under the age of 18 serving life sentences.

In all honesty, how can a court sentence children as young as 10 years to life in prison? Does that make sense to anyone apart from the Americans? Does it mean children in the rest of the world are well-behaved or is it that we know how to raise them as humans should? Is justice so blind it cannot differentiate between adults and minors?  Would it surprise us if one day the “mother of justice” sentences a kid in nappies to death for accidentally discharging a gun left on a sofa by her irresponsible mother and shooting the mum to death?

It is estimated that the number of kids in jails is due to mostly gun-related drug-induced crimes as compared to other crimes and blacks still top the list.
Justice, freedom and democracy are not for blacks, as instead of arresting Zimmerman, the investigating officer and the chief of police in Sanford decided to temporarily leave office after pressure from demonstrators in Florida, New York and Washington.

Roger Wareham, a human rights lawyer, believes racism exists because of lack of black political leadership. This manifests in the rise of too many lobby movements and narrow attitudes towards minorities.  Of course the minorities do not include the Jewish community, and Zimmerman sounds Jewish. This minority group controls the American political establishment as nobody can be appointed to any powerful post without the support of the Jewish lobby. They control finance, industry and politics especially foreign policy and this explains why Israel can defy the United Nations and its agencies, the most recent being Tel Aviv’s snub of the United Nations

Human Rights Council (UNHRC) on the probe of Israeli settlements on Palestinian lands. The UNHRC got support in the UN with only the USA opposing and 10 abstentions but Israel’s Netanyahu and the Israeli ambassador to the USA have since announced that Tel Aviv will no longer cooperate with the UNHRC until further notice.

Zimmerman, Jews, whites and anyone else have an attitude towards blacks. An attitude of impunity that is you can do anything to a black person and get away with it.  Blacks are scapegoats for white failure.  This extends to other minorities and that was why an Arab woman was killed for “not going back home.”  The white Americans conveniently ignores that they are not native to those lands as America belongs to the Indians.

In any case the USA actively encourages immigration through the various schemes that American embassies sell to the world’s fortune seekers. It is undeniable that the States has the world’s largest number of self-made millionaires and billionaires but they exploit and suck the blood of hundreds of millions of oppressed Americans (the so-called 99 percent).

The dream of Dr Martin Luther King is still a long way off according to Frederick Alexander Meade, a journalist, author and human rights activist in Atlanta, Georgia. King dreamt of a colour-blind society where people will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by their character.
Bob Marley, citing Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia, refers to the colour of a man’s skin being of no significance than the colour of his eyes. The reality is that blacks have no control of their destiny in the Diaspora. This is why the west is so outraged when Zimbabwe embarks on programmes to define black leadership in

agriculture, industry, mining and commerce through the  indigenisation and empowerment agenda.
Barack Hussein Obama is nothing but a lame duck in the White House.  He panders to the whims of the monied and gluttonous capitalists and the Jewish lobby who were once described as hard-hearted, look at their treatment of their Arab neighbours. The fact is Obama is a black skinned white who           never experienced what average blacks experience in white America. He lacks the black connection because of his white mother, even his wife says she was not keen to introduce him to her parents as he was of a different upbringing. She felt her parents would not approve of such a relationship. Therefore there is no way he can influence American society to dump racial prejudice as he cannot really understand what his brother and sisters are complaining of.

Dr King’s dream shall remain so unless apathy among blacks is done away with. My prayers were answered when on Wednesday 28 March, a new vigilante group, the New Black Panthers offered $10 000 (6 300 pounds) to anybody who kills Zimmerman. The mythology of justice and equality makes blacks fail to see that they have to revive the black pressure groups such as the Black Panther. Justice will never be delivered to them on a platter and Zimmerman has finally realised white police will not protect him and has gone underground while issuing insincere apologies feigning cries of anguish yet he had earlier on boasted of his accomplishment with the police planting ganja of the innocent kid. Does smoking ganja justify extra judicial killing?

In any case the teen was not a drug addict; the police are trying to justify an inquiry.
For as long as blacks remain fearful; afraid of losing jobs, homes, peace, they will just die or suffer in silence. The worst scenario is they so often turn to drugs and black music that is fornicating to poison their own minds by singing of drugs, sex and guns instead of freeing themselves. The Obama administration and all subsequent ones will always deny the existence of racism in the so-called land of dreams and opportunities. The criminal police brutally will continue and blacks will still be shot in their own homes and cars by those who are supposed to offer them protection and guarantee security.
