God Churches (African Revival) endeavours to minister to the woman at every stage and station of her life.
This Ministry embraces the baby girl and carries her right through to grandmotherhood, equipping her with the word of God at every stage.
Faith Statement
“We believe that inside every woman and girl lies a precious stone concealed by the evil works of the devil. We also believe that the value and potential of the woman and girl can be released through the power and wisdom of Jesus Christ found in the word of God, revealing a woman of wisdom, wealth, strength and honour, true beauty, good works, excellence and a woman that fears the Lord.”
Place of Girl-Child in the Kingdom of God
The place of the girl-child in the house of God is captured in this foundational declaration which emanated from the word that God Spoke to Dr Rutendo Faith Wutawunashe in May 1990, while in Durham, North Carolina, USA.
In a vision, she saw a lump of soil with a stream of water running over it, washing away the soil. Subsequently, an emerald emerged from the centre of the lump of soil.
The gem was further cleansed and polished by a sharp instrument until it was very clean and beautiful.
The Holy Spirit revealed that the lump of soil carrying a gem is the woman or girl (Proverbs 31:10); the water is the word of God (John 15:3; Ephesians 5:26; Ezekiel 36:25); the sharp instrument is the type of the word of God which is like a sword (Hebrews 4:12); the precious stone is the woman or girl with the virtues described in Proverbs 31.
The soil concealing the gem are the evil works of the devil (sin, poverty, sickness and disease, violence, confusion, fear, defeat and failure).
Vulnerability of the Girl-Child
The girl child is vulnerable from the time of birth because according to Genesis 3:15 the devil identifies her as his enemy with potential to grow and produce seed to crush his head.
The devil then fights her from the cradle to the grave using violence, traditions and cultures in order to conceal her value and potential.
Importance of Training the Girl-Child
The wisdom contained in Proverbs 22:6 shows clearly that when a child is trained up in the way that he or she should go, they will not depart from it when they grow old.
In the Precious Stone Women and
Girls Ministry the girl child is trained by the elder women to be confident and productive and grow into a woman of wisdom, wealth, true beauty, strength and honour, good works, excellence and a woman that fears the Lord.
There are also programmes designed to build capacity to bless families, communities, nations and the house of God. For instance, platforms like precious stone group functions and meetings at local church level, provincial and national conventions and of course the annual international convention held at HICC.
