A SELF-confessed serial killer from Gokwe who allegedly raped and killed a milk vendor after sucking her blood has appeared before a Masvingo magistrate facing a charge of murdering yet another woman.

The latest murder brings to 13 the number of women the man has allegedly killed.

Alois Nduna, 26, alias Jackson Moyo of Matanga Village under Chief Jiri in Gokwe, was brought to court by detectives who successfully applied for his further detention to pave way for further investigations on Friday.

Last week he confessed to raping and killing 12 women after draining their blood vampire style in the Midlands, Bulawayo and Masvingo.

Police have confirmed Nduna uses multiple identities.

He sent officers fleeing from Mvuma Police Station last week when he claimed he was a Satanist.

Nduna appeared before Masvingo provincial magistrate Langton Ndokera on Friday facing a murder charge.

He told the magistrate: “I suck blood because I was told at Universal Church, my denomination that blood would make me a strong person.”

In his warned and cautioned statement, Nduna said he sucked blood from Beauty Hove, 26, of Mashava until she died.

He said on April, 25, he arrived at Mashava from Zvishavane at around 5 PM.

Nduna said along the Mashava-Masvingo road, he followed a link road towards a market place and met Hove who was talking on the phone.

“I grabbed Hove and bit her on the neck after which I started sucking her blood until she lost consciousness. She fell down and that’s when I stopped sucking her blood,” said Nduna who looked relaxed.

He said after she died, he carried the body and left it beside a road in the bush near King Mine turn off before taking away her cellphone and $2.

Nduna told the court he sold the handset to a cellphone vendor based near Pick and Pay Supermarket in Masvingo.

He said Hove’s body was bruised as he dragged it along the road.

James Murambiza appeared for the State.

In August 2012, Nduna allegedly fell through the roof of the AFM church during an all night prayer at around 10 PM at Ngundu Growth Point, 80 KM along the Masvingo-Beitbridge Road.

Congregants took him to the police station where he mysteriously disappeared from the charge office.

Police said Nduna told them that he was coming from Zambia where he had parked his car at around 8 PM.

He said he could not understand how he travelled to Ngundu, more than 1,000 km away, within two hours.

Among Nduna’s victims in the Midlands are two women who were allegedly raped and their bodies found in an advanced state of decomposition in Zvishavane last month.

Police arrested Nduna after tracking him using a cellphone that he had stolen from Privilege Mutara, the milk vendor.

He once disappeared from Walter Magaya’s Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries where he had gone for prayers, using the name Alois Tapiwa Nduna.

At the time, he claimed to be from Nhavi Village under Chief Chireya in Gokwe.

Nduna confirmed soon after his arrest on Wednesday while confessing to the killings that he was the same man who mysteriously landed in Ngundu.

His story corroborated his interview with Masvingo police where he also claimed that he was initiated into the satanic cult by a Nigerian clique in Zambia where he was working as a sign writer at a lodge.

Police sources said Nduna was also wanted for questioning in connection with similar offences in Bulawayo, Hwange and Masvingo.

He claimed that he was being used for ritual purposes by his colleagues from the underworld.

Moyo said he was initiated into Satanism by some Nigerian businessmen whom he met in Zambia sometime last year when he went there in search of employment.

He said the Nigerians approached him while he was working at a lodge in Zambia and burnt frankincense, which he inhaled and was immediately incorporated into satanism.

Moyo alleged that his group was supposed to kill four more women and drain their blood for ritual purposes before being attested into the elite group.
