In the Juvenile Series, Control Freak (1) won her third race in as many sprints, beating Annaburro by 2.25 lens.
The race was over 1 000m and the filly from the Harris yard, ridden by Gavin Lerena, stopped the clock in exactly one minute.
Meanwhile preparations for the Castle Tankard continue with a provisional list of 20 equine athletes hoping to enter for US$50 000 race.

A final nomination will be made on Monday but so far all the top trainers in Zimbabwe have shown an interest to saddle horses to the starting stalls.

Vincent could lead the cast from Peech’s yard that includes Auvergne, Eventful, Got Personality and Wooden It Be Great. Grisham by Geoff Woodruff and Kithala by D’ Aquion could also fight for the coveted tankard while Karen Tselentis may opt for Mill Key Way.
Gavin Macleod may saddle Sharp Texan while Dave Willey has Tremayne on the provisional list for the Castle Tankard running on May 21.
