COMEDIAN Carl Joshua Ncube says “Sir” Wicknell Chivayo flies business class/first class as it is cheaper considering he would have to buy three seats in economy class in order to fit because of his huge frame.

Ncube, who was in Bulawayo earlier in the week on a quest to break the Guinness World Record of the Most Comedy shows in a week, did not waste the opportunity to take a dig at the larger than life business mogul.

“Sir Wicknell has been saying I’m not funnier than Trevor Noah and that I’m a little poor comedian because when he travels overseas, he flies business class while I use economy. However, the reason he uses business class is that it’s cheaper than economy class as his body structure would occupy three economy seats which is more expensive,” said Ncube who was performing at La Gondola.

Ncube and the rich businessman have been at each other’s throats after the latter said he was not as funny as Trevor Noah and was in the league of Mukadota, Paraffin and Mutirowafanza. Chivayo further said while Ncube struggles to get people to pay $2, he could pay his fans $100 each to attend any of his shows.

Apart from roasting his nemesis, Ncube gave a grand performance at most of his shows in Bulawayo. His recycled jokes were mainly centred on the highs and lows of being Shona and Ndebele, the problems bedevilling Air Zimbabwe and rape-accused Prophet Magaya.
