A MARRIED woman from Makokoba reportedly forced a Grade Six pupil to have sex with her on her matrimonial bed and threatened to kill him if he told anyone, a court heard. Zibusiso Sibanda, 36, a neighbour to the boy’s grandmother appeared before Bulawayo Magistrate Sibongile Msipa facing one count of aggravated indecent assault.Magistrate Msipa remanded her in custody to October 3.
The state led by Caroline Matanga alleges that on September 4, Sibanda called the boy who had visited his grandmother for the holidays.
“The boy was playing outside with his brother and Sibanda led the boy to her house and instructed him to lie on the bed and covered him with a blanket.

“Sibanda then removed her clothes and became completely naked and went on to remove the boy’s clothes,” said Matanga.
She also told the court that Sibanda ordered the boy to lie on top of her.

Sibanda then started to touch the boy’s private part and forced it into hers. She told the boy to make some movements while on top of her.
“As a result she forced the boy to have sexual intercourse without his consent,” Matanga said adding that after the encounter, Sibanda dismissed the boy and dressed up.

“She then threatened to kill the boy if he told anyone of the matter,” said Matanga.
“The offence came to light when the boy went back to his mother after the school holidays. When his mother quizzed him on how the holidays were, he told her what had happened to him and how Sibanda had sexually abused him.”

The boy was taken to hospital for medical examination.
Sources close to the boy’s family said Sibanda had initially asked the boy if he was interested in playing a game with her before leading him to her house.
“This woman approached the boy while he was playing with other kids and said she wanted to play a game with him. The boy went to her house and she sexually abused him,” said one resident who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The boy’s friends allegedly witnessed the act through a window and told their parents.
