CHAMPIONS Insurance (motor and licensing) on Saturday held its “insure, win and drive away promotion” regional draw in Bulawayo where 15 customers from the Matabeleland region won different prizes.

Five customers had a big reason to celebrate as they won a package that contained a television set, solar panel and solar light while the other 10 each won a solar panel and light.

Champions Insurance southern regional manager Miss Sheena Havadi said the insurance company introduced the promotion to give back to the community and show appreciation to their clients and partners.

“The purpose of this promotion is to give back to the community, usually every year we have the scratch and win promotion where people scratch and win prizes but right now we just say everyone has to get something out of the promotion.

“Last year we gave away eight Honda Fit cars but it was just only eight clients who got to benefit out of it. So, now we want everyone to benefit so we have small prizes like solar panels, television sets, caps and t-shirts as long someone gets something just to appreciate our clients,” she said.

Miss Havadi said the grand draw will be held on 13 November where lucky clients would win cars.

Champions Insurance was incorporated in June 2003 as a niche insurer targeting the under-served markets and has built expertise.

The company also provides legal insurance cover, house owners insurance and is the only company that provides inbound travel insurance cover designed for incoming visitors to Zimbabwe which complements the Government efforts to promote Zimbabwe as a safe tourist destination.
