AK 47 slinging robbers attack security guards and make off with US$7 000 in Bulawayo

A gang of 10 heavily armed suspects descended upon a business premise in Bulawayo, and swiftly overpowered six security guards before making off with US$7 000.
The suspects, armed to the teeth with three AK-47 rifles and a pistol, stormed the business located in the Western Commonage area on 6 December, overpowering six security guards and forcing their way into the offices, where they used grinders to shatter cash safes.
The brazen heist yielded US$7 000 and R18 000 in stolen cash.
In statement on X, the police said the case is under investigation and anyone with information should report to any nearest Police Station.
